Fan welding system

The “Impeller Fans” welding equipment is made of electro-welded sheet and profile steel, machined on machine tools and subjected to rigorous normalization treatments, so as to ensure high preciption, combined with excellent rigidity and resistance to mechanical stress. Welding unit – Welding head with ø100 stroke 100 cylinder, with anti-rotation rod, mounted on rotary axis, to perform inclined welds. Equipped with a medium-frequency transformer, 1000 Hz, vacuum-impregnated to ensure its functionality and reduce working noise. SCR diode bridge, to rectify the welding voltage, to achieve a more optimal welding balance, compared to single-phase or three-phase DC systems. The transformer is integrally cooled to maintain constant welding current delivery. It is complete with an over-temperature protection circuit on both the magnetic core and the rectifier diodes. Rotary table – Rotary divider with 2 stations, one of which is for welding while the other is for loading and unloading. The rotary divider is a mechanical unit that drives the output disk intermittently. The divider can be motorized. The orthogonal-axis device by means of a helical cam drive and rollers in continuous engagement transforms continuous rotary motion at the infeed into intermittent motion at the outlet: the construction profile of the cam determines the movement and pause cycle of the divider.

The machine is constructed from a rotating divider with orthogonal axes and is intended to be engaged on other machine that incorporates it. It gives the possibility being constructed of solid aluminum profiles, to support welding stresses and support the jigs that will be applied, the weight of which must not exceed 100kg. Axis movement – The tacking unit is managed by 6 controlled axes: I AXIS: Lifting and lowering of welding head; II AXIS: Rotation of welding head; III AXIS: Horizontal movement of welding head; IV AXIS: Transverse movement of welding head; V – VI AXIS: Rotation of 2 jig bearing washers.

Control Unit – Mechanical, microprocessor-based, 6-axis management control with various trajectory management possibilities: point-to-point, linear interpolation, all with fly-mode possibility on intermediate path points. Manual movements according to robot axes, coordinates referenced to the tool center (TCP). Field programming by self-learning, i.e., via built-in personal computer or via other remote personal computer. On-line program storage via EEPROM memory and off-line on memory card. The system provides, among other things, the possibility of integration with other automatic machines, within flexible machining lines. (FMS). In addition, the control unit is equipped with No. 1 Micro 8 control. The Cabinet is complete with a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker.
